Saving souls at any cost
The 10,000 Men and Their Families March is an annual march held in Spanish Town, Jamaica to promote peace in the old capital. The event is hosted by the The Spanish Town Revival, in association with the Spanish Town Ministers Fraternal, under the leadership of former chairman Bishop Dr. R.J Edwards, the brain child and main driving force behind this initiative.
Each year the event seeks to promote peace and an end to gun violence in the various volatile communities in Spanish Town and its environs, by way of a march, typically include uniform and various church groups marching along with marching bands from multiple locations around Spanish Town, onto the Town Center, where the event culminates with a massive free gospel concert, featuring local and international gospel artiste and various worship groups.
The March, which has its genesis in Spanish Town, was called upon to extended its programme to other volatile communities in Montego Bay and May Pen.
The initiative have successfully pull thousands of good, law-abiding citizens together and allow them to raise their voices against murder and other violent crimes in their communities.
